Welcome to the St. Lucie Sailing Club’s website!  St. Lucie Sailing Club is so much more than just a club.  We are individuals and families who share a love of sailing and being on the water.  SLSC offers weekly racing for those who enjoy the challenge of “racing the wind,” cruising events for the more “laid back” among us, and social events that provide opportunities for building friendships, and sharing our sailing experiences and expertise with each other.  Our members are young and “seasoned,” big and small, and somewhere in between.  Because we do not own a clubhouse, our membership dues are only $60 per year.  Our general meetings are on the first Monday each month (except if the first Monday is a holiday) at 7:30 p.m. (but come early, about 7:00 p.m., to socialize); the meetings are held at the Palm City Recreation Center, 2701 SW Cornell Avenue, Palm City (just southwest of the Palm City Bridge).

The boats in our club range from small day sailors and racers to 50+ foot cruisers and multi-hulls.  Don’t own a boat?  Many of our members routinely crew for those who do and assist the race committees in running races.  We offer sailing lessons for beginners and advanced classes for racers who want to hone their skills.  In February 2009, SLSC leased from Martin County a portion of beautiful Pendarvis Cove Park, and we built a secured, fenced-in storage area for small mast-up sailboats, and boat and trailer storage for our club members at a bargain flat rate of $25 per month.  We race, we cruise, we socialize – but mostly we have lots of fun!

The SLSC Bridge encourages club members to participate in racing, cruising, and social activities, and pitch in to help run the club – get involved (the benefit to you is enormous) – this club is all about you!

See you on the water!
