They have added a little Tiki Bar with tables at the Marina in Club Med. We can have a meeting to sort out any last minute questions or details.

Alex, As for the rabbit start, just remember the starting line is "R2" port side and the stern of the rabbit on the starboard side. The rabbit will be on port tack, and you will be on startboard tack. Don't cross the line until the signal.
I certainly hope the children are welcome. Everywhere I've been, sailing is a family sport. There is an anchorage east of Peanut Island, and if that is too crowded, another anchorage south of Peanut Island and east of the channel. We are going to try to find a place we can raft-up, and we have a few boats taking dingies. Look forward to seeing you and the boys.

John

Nemesis is planning on racing, but I do have a few questions.

First, being a novice racer can I get some more info on the "Pursuit" style race? I thought this would be like the staggered start we use for the Beer Can races, but looking at the description of the rabbit boat, I'm a bit confused.

Second, I noticed some comments on the Yahoo site about trying to appear more "Yacht Club" like for our sister club in Palm Beach. Since my crew will include my 9 and 6 year old sons, I want to make sure they will be welcome at the after race get together.

Third, where is the best place to anchor out near the PBSC or will there be slips available for the racers?

Thanks,
Alex Meyer
