The Notice of Race for the Herb Carey / Chuck Reade Race announced the winners would be announced athe Deck Restaurant at approximately 4:00 p.m.  Some of you may have been planning to travel to the Deck by car.  This may be difficult or impossible due to a Boat Show going on there this Saturday. 

There will still be a gathering at the Deck Restaurant after the race, it just may be difficult to get there by car.  The trophies will be presented at the next General Meeting.

Hope to see you at the starting line at 12:00 p.m.

Saturday, January 16 at 11:00 a.m. Captain Jim Sharpe will be lecturing at the Arts Council  80 E. Ocean Blvd. Stuart, FL 34994 www.martinarts.org   Captain Sharpe is the author of With Reckless Abandon, Memoirs of a Boat Obsessed Life and magazine articles. He is an instructor at the world-famous Chapman School of Seamanship, and has cruised under sail and power in the U.S. and abroad.

JANUARY 24, STARTING AT 1:00 PM TILL 4:00 PM.
 
No need to sign up just show up. Bring something to drink and a snack to share. 
 
This is a great way to get on the water and spend a few hours with other sailors.
 
No one stays overnight, this is for the small or large boats who just want to have a great afternoon on the water.

We still need volunteers to help at the booth.  It is easy and a fun day.  You only have to volunteer for about an hour.  There is no admission for the Festival.
