The Summer Sailstice Regatta has been postponed until July 26th @ 1:55 p.m. Many of the participants and members of the race committee had a conflict with the memorial service scheduled for Saturday and there were other club events scheduled for later in the day. Remember, the start time on the 26th will be at 1:55 p.m., see you on the water.

Change to the Sailing Instructions
Disregard the diagram and the description of the Rabbit Start in the Sailing Instructions and replace the description of the "The Start" with the following:
The Start: The start will be a Rabbit Start. The Rabbit will be Latitudes, if not, an announcement will be made at 9:45 a.m. The First Warning Signal will be 1 long blast followed by several short blasts at approximately 9:55 and signal 5 minutes until start. The rabbit will raise the Red Class Flag at this time. The rabbit will head due east from the marker R-2 outside of the St. Lucie Inlet drawing the start line. The start line will be between the transom of the rabbit to the east, and R-2 to the west. The rabbit may use their motor if necessary to maintain a due east course. There will be a long single blast at 4 minutes, a long single blast at 1 minute, and a long single blast at the start. The rabbit will take down the red flag at the start. Attempts will be made to communicate each signal via VHF 71, however, the absence of any radio transmission will not affect the validity of the start.
A boat making contact with or interfering with the rabbit is disqualified and shall retire from the race.
