General Announcement
The Marine Flea Market is recognized as the largest event of its type in the world. Private individuals and corporate vendors sell marine equipment, coral encrusted antiques, used boats, fishing tackle, diving gear, marine artwork and other boating related items in a pleasant, almost party-like, atmosphere. The Dania Marine Flea Market provides the ideal environment for buyer and seller to engage in friendly and, sometimes, intense ‘bargaining.’ Thousands of boating related items are bought and sold through a system of dickering and dealing at a fraction of their retail value.

General Announcement
The St Lucie Sailing Club offers an “Intro to Sailing Course” in which you’ll learn the nomenclature of a sail boat and the basics of sailing. Though it won’t qualify you to skipper a Volvo Ocean Race, it will make you a good crewman on a big boat and get you going in a small day sailor. It’s an eight week course, with seven evening classes and a practical sailing experience. There is no charge for the course but the book costs $25. For 2009 the classes will start on April 9 and October 8.
Contact Paul Loschiavo 561 575 7882 (evening) or 561 745 1434 (day) or losch@comcast. net to join.
